HDD not seen in TRB3 removable drive bay
The underlying HBA within our TRB3 had RAID abilities by default. If needed, you must clear the existing configuration and reset the HBA to a JBOD configuration to see the hard disks used in the removable, 3.5" SATA bay.
You will first need to download ArcSAP from Magstor.com, under the Support page for the LRU unit here.
You first will need to delete the existing PassThrough setting for the tape drive. Highlight the PassThrough#000 in the left pane and select Delete, next to the red 'X':
Return to the home page by selecting the ARC-1x86-xx adapter in the left pane and select Advanced Features in the main body of the page:
This places you into the HBA's built in web server. Here you will select THIS PAGE and change the JBOD/RAID Configuration from "RAID" to "JBOD":
NOTE: You must check the box "Confirm The Operation" and then hit the Submit button.
